New to NYK Line Japan in 2008 she is the worlds first partially solar powered vehicle carrier. Over 300 solar arrays produce 10% of the overall power requirement of her. She boarded her deep sea pilot at Brixham today whilst underway from Livorno, Italy - Zeebrugge, Belgium with approximately 5,600 vehicles onboard at the time.
